It’s just an enrolled gutteral h.
People from other cultures need to realize that greetings are extremely important in many societies.
Ironically, most of the ENVIOUS commenters here that are accusing Gabie of not being perfect in some of her foreign languages are making tons of grammatical and orthographic mistakes themselves. Talk about pot, kettle, and black. Besides, her show is not about languages but about cooking and her family life. She has been the first to admit that her foreign tongues performance is not perfect, but the important thing is that she can communicate in them perfectly well.
Agreed! Was skiing in the alpes and did just this when ordering at a café. The guy responded very well 😊 Be brave!
When you say ‘Charlie’ 👀…

Where’s maia??
Hey, we have built a Chrome extension for learning like this. It's called Contexicon and it's free. Basically generates a personalized learning feed from Netflix shows. Has lots of Lupin clips for French learners as well
where is maia?
Ikr
Great idea ❤💡
J’adore Lupin.
Tbh, I'm not very familiar with European French. I couldn't spot the difference between Parisian and, let's say, Marseillais accent but I am very familiar with North American French. I can always spot the difference between a Montrealais and a person from Shawinigan
Love this video. I wish she did French from New England and New Orleans. Her input would’ve been interesting.
this is the best! i wish there were more Maia content. Honestly only watch for her
Middlebury? wealthy school
She's used to saying "that's all" when in Korean Englishman videos. Only she says it Korean.
as an outsider, to me the Parisian accent seems almost ethereal , while the southern and Quebec accents sound more grounded , almost harsh - but easier for a non native French speaker to follow and understand
I liked this loving and understanding French teacher who was open to new French pronunciations with warmth and affection. Who is she? I liked her way of explaining and managing the French language in practice, theory and linguistics. ❤️😊😉🌹💋🤗🫂
Sometimes as an emphatic subject. On aime vos vidéos, nous tous. 😊
Ces même pas lui 😂
I also get the impression french schools teach perfectionism and so lack of perfectionism makes the french cringe. So theyre trying to rescue you 😅
Super accent en anglais! 👍
WHERE ARE YOU MAYA , I WAS LEARNING VERY WELL, YOU MADE MY LEARNING FUN , INTERESTING AND VERY VERY EASY. -- JESSE DARON 🇺🇲
What about comment ça va?
honestly sort of impressed with myself for understanding 💀 i hated french with my bones and soul in school but ive been seriously considering picking it up again
underrated video
Merci 😊
"Je dois tourner ici." = "I have to spend time here." I don't think I've ever heard that phrase. Always learning something new on this channel.
Tourner un film = to film a movie, that's what she meant, she has to film another movie in France. Ah thanks for the kind words, it's been a hard day and I really needed that :')
@@Street_French "tourner un film" Okay, thanks!
every time!!!
Franglais, anyone?
no trust me, some of us make so many mistakes it becomes normal
Once there was boy who got into an accident and couldn't come to school, mmm mmm mmm. Its a song , its called mmm mmm mmm by crash test dummy.
The hundred year war is still felt today
I love this so much ❤🫰😂👌
What else is there to talk about France besides the stereotypes? 😄
💯💯💯
Salut Charlie!
Is there a difference in French French and Canadian French?
You are beautiful🎉
and to pronouce it even better, say "cho-co-la-tine". Everything else is heresy.
30 seconds just improved my French. Why didn't anyone tell me the R is really a K in disguise 🥲
